Grants
The Graduation Program in Environmental Sciences has grants from both CAPES and CNPq.
CIAMB has a Commission of Grants, which organizes the relocation of grants as the students graduate or the grants reach their deadlines, and the direction of new grants, when applicable.
To compete for a CAPES or CNPQ grant, the student:
- cannot have another grant;
- cannot be employed (these are Social Demand grants)
- needs to be aware of the rules and conditions (see the criteria for the concession of CNPQ and CAPES grants on their website);
- and needs to inform the secretary they are interested, to be registered on the waiting list.
-
FAPEG Grant: The grantee can be employed. When FAPEG’s public notice is published, CIAMB informs the students and starts the selection process according to the rules of the agency.
-
Duration of the grants (CAPES/CNPQ/FAPEG):
-
Master’s: 24 months maximum (2 years)
